BUSSINESS DEVELOMENT MANAGER 

Job Summary

Find, select, acquire new Clients/ Suppliers/Principles in FMCG as well as Full Agency, with profitable business, in line with Rich Field (RF) standards, and strategy.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of Business Unit expansion strategies and establish long-term relationships with potential key clients/Suppliers/Principles and customers in line with business objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in accordance with the Strategy.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage business opportunities/leads in securing sales pipeline in line with short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Manage research/feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings, and prepare information for decision-making.
  • To be responsible for preparation, negotiation and finalization of new Clients’ contracts and contracts renewals with existing Clients.
  • Collaborate with internal functionals in identifying upselling opportunities, deal negotiations and finalization of contracts.
  • Manage the improvement of current Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to prepare compelling business cases with a view to differentiating RF offer successfully and convince Clients of working with RF.
  • Collect information from both clients and market intelligence for identifying business opportunities and threats.
  • Preparation of business proposal responding to the requirements of clients
  • Following the contract preparation by legal and contract negotiation with Clients until it is finalized.
  • Discussion with client and preparation of business starting plan / transition plan ensuring for the successful business integration with RF.
  • Preparation of monthly / quarterly business review meeting for new business joining
  • Ensuring for the smooth handover the business to Client Operation after starting months (3-6 months)
  • Establish long-term relationships with potential clients/customers with a view to enhancing business opportunities.

 

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • P&L, G&A, budget and cost setting up.
  • Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries.
  • Demonstrate business acumen, analytical and business analysis skills.
  • Demonstrate skills in market research and audit.
  • Proven client and customer account management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to manage global/regional/country level assignments and projects.
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country/-cultural interactions.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
